VBA returns error why trying to use 'lookup' in formula

When I try to run this line of code, I recieve VBA error 1004.

Range("K38").Select
ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=IFERROR(LOOKUP(2, 1/(COUNTIF($K$36:$K37, WIP_Table[Resource Name])=0), WIP_Table[Resource Name]), """")"

The formula for the cell works perfectly when I input into excel manually, so I'm not sure why VBA stops?? Any help would really be appreciated, thanks.
